GstarCAD Standard is built for 2D drafting across all technical fields — an ideal alternative to AutoCAD LT. GstarCAD Professional adds 3D design tools and dynamic blocks on top of everything in Standard — a full alternative to the complete AutoCAD.
Both versions have full functionality. The only difference is that the Trial Demo version lasts for 30 days, then it can be used just as a Viewer.
There are 3 to choose; Stand-alone USB dongle, Stand-alone Licence (Flexnet), Network Licence (Flexnet).
The software itself is the same, there is just a difference in activation process and type of usage.
Network licences are connected to the server which allows any user in the office to obtain access if the licence is not in use.
Standalone version is connected to a PC or a Dongle.
GstarCAD can be successfully used by all engineers and technicians; architects, electricians, mechanical and civil engineers, surveyors. GstarCAD enables you to realize your projects and put them on the paper. GstarCAD is ideal for anyone who used CAD software once in their lifetime.
The easiest way is to download the latest version (Trial) and install it again — there will be three options: Modify, Repair, Uninstall.
Choose Modify and the new data will be installed while old files remain, so you don’t need to type in the Serial number again.
