GstarCAD Activation Guide
Select your licence type on the left and follow the instructions. You can click on the download buttons to download the files or view the recording.
Licence Activation
You can activate your GstarCAD Standalone licence yourself by following the attached PDF instructions (see page 2). Please activate the TRIAL licence first, then convert it to the perpetual licence. The process is also demonstrated in the video below.
Licence Transfer / Deactivation
If you change computers or reinstall Windows, please click Return Licence first, then reactivate the licence on the new computer (see page 10 of the manual for step-by-step instructions). The process is also demonstrated in the video below.
Installing the Licence Manager
Download and install the 'Licence Manager' application on the server PC.

Activation / Deactivation of Network Licences
If you don't already have it, please download the GstarCAD Trial version and activate it using your serial number to convert it into a permanent licence.

Connecting Clients to the Server
Network licence users connect to the server following the instructions on page 8 of the GstarCAD 2026 Activation and Licence Return Guide, where they enter the IP address of the server and the port (default 27000).
When making changes on the server, first click Return Licence in the Licence Manager application, then reactivate the licence after the changes.
Activation of Dongle USB Licence
Download the GstarCAD Trial if you don't already have it, then activate it using your serial number to convert it into a permanent licence.
Usage Instructions
For the first activation, follow the instructions on page 9. For subsequent starts, simply insert the USB stick and use the licence.
